Why the 8th Doctor?

There are Doctor Who websites everywhere: doctorwhonews.net, tardisnewsroom & kasterborous.com to name only a few. In all the websites on the World Wide Web, there are no websites devoted to the 8th Doctor. Sadly the Paul McGann Doctor has received little press mostly because he had only one TV appearance. But the 8th Doctor has lived on beyond the FOX movie. He has had adventures in a range of books and not to mention the Big Finish Audio Series (which this website counts as Doctor Who Cannon). The 8th Doctor is as much apart of series history as any of the other actors who played the part. So I ask: Why not the 8th Doctor.

Paul McGann still unsure of 50th Anniversary

From ret ten -
Speculation is mounting amongst fans that there will be a multi-Doctor reunion episode for the anniversary - especially after Tom Baker recently said he is willing to return to Doctor Who.
Paul McGann, who played the Eighth Doctor, was asked if he has been contacted about the 50th anniversary while speaking to The Independent.
"No," he answered, adding: "I mean, I know it's imminent but no, there's been no invites to or sounding out taking place but maybe it will happen, we don't know."
McGann went on to admit that he's not actually very familiar with the revived Doctor Who series.
"I don't have a television. No. So, I don't watch anything," he explained.
"In fact some of my mates, particularly my gay mates, they say, 'How do you live? What do you do?' I've never seen an episode of Friends. I don't know who the newscasters are...I just got out of the habit."
Adding that he never watches recordings of his own performances, McGann admitted: "I've just about got used to the sound of my own voice, doing voice works. But actors are like everyone else, why would you want to look at yourself? See yourself leaving a room?
"But I know Matt Smith and I saw him the other day," he continued. "It's in safe hands, the kid's obviously brilliant, a really, really good choice to take it on."

Series 11: Army of Death

NOTE: This series takes place before the series 1 story Storm Warning

The TARDIS brings the Doctor and Mary Shelley to the continent of Zelonia, on the frontier world Draxine – where, many moons ago, the twin citystates of Garrak and Stronghaven bore testament to mankind’s colonial spirit. That was before the sinister death cult of Garrak’s President Harmon took hold – and Garrak annihilated itself, utterly, in an apocalyptic explosion. Before the bones of Garrak’s dead came back to life, and its skeletal citizens began marching, marching, marching on Stronghaven itself. Starring Paul McGann and Julie Cox.

8th Doctor Special: A Company of Friends

The Company of Friends is a Big Finish Productions audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. The play is made of four one-part stories, by different authors, rather than the usual multi-part serial. All episodes use the Eighth Doctor as played by Paul McGann, and he is joined in each episode by a companion who originated in either the Doctor Who book or comic ranges.
